Epiphanie Camera Bag

I recently won a giveaway~ I'm still pinching myself about this whole thing.

I won an Epiphanie Camera Bag and a Wacom Bamboo Capture tablet.  The gift certificate for the Epiphanie bag was $200 so I could pretty much choose any bag I wanted from their lineup.  It took me a while to choose - but I chose:

the Lola in black.  It was a tough decision - so many options!  But this bag ultimately I decided wasn't too big and I liked the fact that it came in a color I could live with a very long time.

I've read a lot of reviews about the Epiphanie bags.  They are well made and yes, they look like a purse but function as a great camera gear bag.  I already have a camera bag for shoots that I love and fits everything I need (a lot of stuff and a huge camera).  So what I really was looking for was a bag that I could take on family outings and trips where I wanted my camera but I don't need all of my gear.  I'm glad I didn't go with anything bigger than the Lola.  The Lola is pretty big!  The width across the bottom of the bag is 8".  For its size it doesn't actually hold as much as I thought it would, but the reason for that is a good one: it has tons and tons of padding.  I know that my gear is safe, which is huge.

All in all, I love the bag.  The pink interior isn't really my thing, but I don't care enough to not like the bag.

The other thing I won was this Bamboo Capture.  It really is a mouse-type device for editing photos.  The pen is great for selecting detailed items on Photoshop or other photo editing programs.  It's easy to use and a cool gadget to have.

The giveaway was by two companies: iheartfaces, which is a great website for photographers, and the new Retrollect app on iTunes which is a fun way to download and showcase photos.

I still can't believe these are mine!
